Private 1:1 Coaching with a Psychotherapist

Private Mother Wound Mentorship

8 Private Coaching Sessions

If you’re still sad about the relationship you never had with your mother, angry about what you missed out on, or still worrying about what she would think of your choices (even though you’re a capable, self-aware woman). You are in the right place.

Whether your mother is still in your life or not, this 8-week private mentorship will help you break free from the invisible grip of the mother wound.

I understand what it's like to not feel close to your mother.

To really want a mum, but not your mum.

To want a relationship with her, and hate being around her at the same time.

To wish she could be different, or wish it could have been different - whilst knowing she never will be.

I understand because I've lived it too, and because I've spent years as a psychotherapist helping women deal with it.

If your mother was critical, controlling, emotionally dependent on you, unpredictable, abusive, often playing the victim, or unable to manage her own emotions, these experiences would have shaped how you learned to see yourself, relate to others, and navigate the world.

These 8 private sessions will help you reduce the psychological influence your mother has over you, your choices, and your sense of self.

"I'd followed Sian on Instagram for a while and everything she posted about mothers sounded like it was written specifically for me, so I gave her private coaching a shot. It has been beyond anything I hoped for. She understands this topic so deeply, and for the first time in my life I didn't feel ashamed or hard done by for not being close to my mother."

What the sessions will look like

Your eight sessions will be structured around four stages that have helped many women heal their mother wound: each one builds on the last.

One

Understand

Sessions 1–2

In our first sessions you’ll develop a clear psychological understanding of your relationship with your mother and how it has shaped your confidence, relationships, nervous system and sense of self. This stage can bring profound relief and clarity.

Two

Grieve & Accept

Sessions 3–4

Next we'll gently but efficiently process the grief, disappointment, and anger you've been carrying about your mother and move through to acceptance (not the same as forgiveness). This is a solid step towards peace.

Three

Learn to Mother Yourself

Sessions 5–6

Here you'll develop the emotional skills that are part of any emotionally healthy life, that your mother wasn't able to teach you. Instead of criticising yourself, you'll learn to comfort yourself. Instead of relying on other people, you'll begin trusting your own inner voice.

Four

Build a Life That Belongs to You

Sessions 7–8

In our final sessions, we’ll bring everything together and focus on what comes next. Using everything you’ve learned, we’ll create a clear vision for a life guided by your values, needs and desires - not your mother’s fears, expectations or criticism. This is where you move from understanding your past to confidently creating a future that feels like your own.

Why work with me

Sian, psychotherapist

I'm a qualified psychotherapist with over 15 years' experience, trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist in North London and later as a CBT Therapist in Surrey. Over those years, I've specialised in one thing in particular: helping self-aware women make sense of what emotionally immature, narcissistic, or otherwise psychologically unhealthy mothering did to them, and what to do about it now.

This isn't just something I've studied - it's something I've lived. I've worked through my own mother wound using the same method I'll guide you through, and it means that I no longer feel angry or down about not having the mother I needed. I've accepted it, completely, and I want to help you get to your own version of that.

"These sessions have brought so much peace to my life. Sian was professional but so compassionate at the same time. I used to feel constantly hurt about how things have turned out with my mum, but Sian managed to unpick it all and help me come to terms with it in a way that has stuck."

The Details

Eight private 1:1 coaching sessions. Investment: $1,600 USD.

Imagine what would change in your life if you no longer felt sad, angry or disappointed about your relationship with your mother.

Or if you made peace with having a mother who never really understood you.

For eight sessions, my focus will be entirely on your relationship with your mother. Not your anxiety, not work stress, not a dozen different issues competing for airtime. Just your mother wound.

Because this is the relationship everything else grows out of, and when you work on it, so much else changes with it.
